In doing our research I found that no matter
the tradition and there are many in witchcraft,
there is a ritual of initiation or rite of passage.
This can be a set of tasks or it could happen
as in other more mainstream religions, as an
individual reaches a certain age accompanied
by a specific set of studies or both.

After certain tasks and studies have been
completed the most important part of any
witch initiation is the passing down of essence
and secrets or runes from witch to witch from
preceding generations. These secrets are never
written down or spoken to outsiders as to do
so would cause their power to diminish and
would bring bad fortune to those who reviled.

This is sometimes followed by a naming
ceremony.

I miss these times we had together. I miss the
Paul I knew and Love.  I donít know where he
is but I do know that if I donít find him, he will
burn in hell.
